Entry into the Firstival 2024 ‘Tote Bag Giveaway’ competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The promoter is Public Library Services, the State Library of South Australia, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
ELIGIBILITY
Limit of one entry per person permitted.
The competition commences on July 1 2024 at 1:00am and closes July 31 2024 at 11:59pm.
Entry to the competition is only open to residents of South Australia, excluding employees of Public Library Services and their immediate families (where ‘immediate family’ means a spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee) and excluding employees of a South Australian public library.
Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm July 31 2024 to be eligible for entry. All entries must be made via the Firstival 2024 feedback form submission at public library events in South Australia. The promoter is responsible for collecting the feedback forms at the end of the competition.
Public Library Services reserves the right to request proof of identity of the person claiming the prize. Proof considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Public Library Services. In the event that the person claiming the prize/s cannot provide suitable proof of identity, Public Library Services in its absolute discretion may disqualify this person.
DETAILS OF THE PRIZES
The prize is a limited edition Firstival tote bag, valued at approximately $40 .
There is a total of 30 prizes to be won across South Australia.
These prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-refundable and not convertible to cash and may be subject to some restrictions.
HOW PRIZES ARE AWARDED
Prizes will be awarded on the basis of a random draw from entries received via completed Firstival 2024 feedback forms.
The prize draw will be conducted at Public Library Services, the State Library of South Australia, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
The prize draw will be conducted on or before 30 September 2024, or once all entry forms have been delivered to Public Library Services, the State Library of South Australia, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
If the prizes (or part of any prizes) are unavailable, Public Library Services, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or that part of the prizes) with prizes to the equal value and/or specification.
Public Library Services reserves the right to forfeit prizes in the event of a winner being unable to satisfy the competition terms and conditions or not contacting Public Library Services within a 5-day timeframe following the winners’ announcement or not claiming the prizes within a 5-day timeframe following the winners’ announcement. In these scenarios, Public Library Services, at its discretion, reserves the right to select a new winner or to nullify the prizes.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winners will be notified via the contact details provided on the entry form (Contact phone number OR email). It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that the contact details provided are true and correct at the time of entry, and to provide a response if contacted by Public Libraries Services regarding a winning competition entry.
Prizes will be sent to the South Australian address that winners provide to Public Library Services.
OTHER
No responsibility is accepted for late or lost entries. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail or courier transit when prizes are forwarded to winners.
Any costs associated with entering the competition is the entrant’s responsibility.
Travel costs are not included and not part of the prize description.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All contestants release from and indemnify Public Library Services against all liability cost.
