‘Where to from here’ by Tracy Crisp as performed at the Adelaide Fringe
Join Tracy Crisp, winner of Fringe Weekly Award for Best Theatre with ‘Where to from Here’!
She’s on the trip of a lifetime: middle-aged, menopausal and forgotten to buy her ticket. Sitting in the station cafeteria drinking over-brewed tea and eating stale croissants, a stranger asks her, ‘Do I know you?’ This simple question will change the course of her life forever.
In this funny but profound and moving show, award-winning South Australian writer and performer Tracy Crisp asks: What if you could meet all the people you might have been?
“I’m especially interested in the duality of middle age. While these years are often overflowing with big responsibilities and upheavals, at the same time we are beginning to feel we might, kind of, possibly know what’s going on. This story is about the reckoning that happens to so many of us. The process of looking back at what we have (and haven’t) done and making peace with our choices. Life is complex, but there’s always a laugh to be found.”
