‘Stitches’ by Tracy Crisp as performed at the Adelaide Fringe
Join Tracy Crisp, winner of Spirit of the Fringe award 2025 as she performs Stitches!
It’s the annual stitch-and-b**ch competition. After years of coming second (plus the indignity of being banned from the craft section of the Royal Show), Tracy is determined that this year she will win. The only problem? She’s in a creative slump and all out of new ideas. Then, with only an hour to go, genius strikes! Will it be enough to save her dignity and take home the trophy?
South Australian writer and performer Tracy Crisp’s Stitches is a mostly true, slightly made-up story about women’s friendships, middle age, and the way we piece our lives together bit by bit. This is a tale about the intangible qualities of the relationships that women share when they share their creative lives.
Winner: Spirit of the Fringe, Frank Ford Award
