The Art of Making Gluten-Free Sourdough Bread
Learn how to make gluten-free bread so good that it’ll make you say, “”Are you sure there’s no gluten in this?””
This workshop with Kym Ormond shows you how to bake two gluten free loaves; a classic baker’s yeast loaf and a sourdough loaf, both 100% gluten-free.
Everyone will leave with a brown rice sourdough starter, recipes and the confidence to bake delicious gluten-free bread at home.
What you will learn:
• How to bake two types of gluten-free bread
• Understanding gluten-free flour blends
• Tips and tricks on how to cook the perfect loaf at home
• Brown rice sourdough basics and care
• Bread baking equipment and tools
• Many bread related dad jokes
Kym Ormond is a community educator and trained chef who teaches skills in sustainable living from food preservation to sourdough bread baking, permaculture gardening, music and other skills he’s picked up along the way.
Ages: For anyone old enough to have a go at making and baking bread (children need to be accompanied by a parent/carer)
Cost: $5 plus booking fee
