What’s it Like to be a Rideshare Driver? (Uber)

Hear from an experienced rideshare driver as he shares tips and advice for those considering this as a career option.

In this informative session, experienced public speaker Neil de Souza—co-administrator of the popular Adelaide Rideshare Drivers Group on Facebook—will offer an insider’s perspective on what it’s really like to be a rideshare driver in South Australia.

Drawing on his extensive industry knowledge, Neil will explore the pros and cons of the role, potential earnings, lifestyle considerations, and essential safety tips.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into the different rideshare companies operating in Adelaide, key driver and vehicle requirements, and strategies for maximizing profitability.

The talk will also address airport pick-up procedures, common pitfalls that lead to fines, and the current makeup of the local driver community, both full-time and part-time.

This session is a must for anyone curious about joining the rideshare industry or looking to improve their driving experience.
