Lights at Mawson

Our signature winter event Lights at Mawson is back – bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than ever.

Mawson Lakes will burst to life with a glowing light maze, illuminated inflatable animals, a magical fairy garden and a silent disco, plus be sure not to miss the electrifying on-lake flame and pyrotechnics show, igniting the water in a breathtaking display of fire, light and excitement.

The Mawson Centre is the place to create your very own light painting portrait with family and friends or jump into the action with LED spinning workshops and interactive games.

This is a spectacular night out for the whole family, completely free to enjoy and right in your own backyard.

Mawson Lakes is easily accessible via public transport, with the Mawson Lakes train station just a short walk from the lake. Limited on-street parking is also available nearby.
