Kids Workshop – Make Enrichment Toys for Your Dog

Children will learn how to design and build simple enrichment toys for dogs using safe, everyday materials.

Join us for a fun, hands-on event where kids (5-10 yrs) get creative while making a difference!

Enrichment is essential for dogs because it keeps their minds active, reduces boredom, and helps prevent problem behaviours like chewing or excessive barking.

Just like people, dogs need mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy – especially when they spend time alone.

By creating these toys, kids will help provide dogs with opportunities to play, explore, and feel more relaxed and fulfilled.

Enrichment items can be taken home to the family dog or left to be donated to the AWL SA.
