Introduction to Life Drawing
Try something new this Firstival and discover the art of life drawing in a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop with artist Alexandra Burford.
Perfect for first-timers and curious creatives, this introductory 2-hour session explores the basics of drawing the human figure in a supportive and low-pressure environment.
Participants will begin with short sketching exercises designed to loosen up, build confidence and strengthen observation skills before progressing to longer studies of a clothed human figure.
No experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to give it a go.
Whether you’ve always wanted to try drawing or are looking to reconnect with your creativity, this workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment, observe and enjoy the process.
