Heaps Good Shorts (Local Short Film Festival)

Come and see the short films of local South Australian aspiring/ up and coming filmmakers with the West Torrens Library and Mercury Cinema.

After the success of 2025’s Heaps Good Horror collaboration between the Mercury Cinema and West Torrens Library, we have once again teamed up to present to you Heaps Good Shorts, a film festival highlighting the best of local South Australian aspiring and up and coming film makers

The screening event will take place on Friday 17 July at The Mercury and feature a selection of short films submitted by the broader South Australian community. For many, this will be the first time they will see their projects on the big screen!

So come and show your support for local film makers, Cinemas and your local library as part of Library Firstival 2026!
