AT UNLEY TOWN HALL

Join a wire and polymer clay, creature and character sculpting two part workshop.

Please note: Makerspace events are for adults only.

This is a two part workshop and you will need to be available on both dates to participate.

Workshop one – learn how to create a variety of wire and aluminium foil armatures to give your sculpture structure. Discover the basics of sculpting, anatomy and how to block out and detail your figure. Gain tips to avoid mistakes and create better sculptures. We will create and pose an interesting character. Which will then be baked and ready for painting.

Workshop two – Starting from where we left off, learn how to paint, and finish your sculptures. Topics and techniques such as painting skin tones, the colour zones of the face, patterns, and using scrap materials to make accessories and finish your characters.

You will be required to attend both sessions to complete the workshop. The fee covers both sessions.

Sunday 9 July 2 – 5pm & Saturday 29 July, 1 – 4pm

Unley Town Hall, Oxford Terrace, Unley

Cost $20 to be paid on booking, bookings essential, bookings available from 1 June. Book online via Eventbrite or phone 8372 5100.
