Unleash your musical creativity with Makey Makey!

Have you ever wanted to make your own giant floor piano or a wonky musical instrument out of playdoh? Join our workshop for beginners and learn how to create interactive musical instruments using everyday objects. In the Make Your Own Interactive Instrument workshop, young people will create their own instruments out of various conductive materials, then, using the library’s own Makey Makey microcontrollers, you can transform your design into your own sound installation.

Time: 2:00pm – 3:00pm

Cost: $5

Where: Mawson Lakes Library

When: Thursday the 13th of July

Ages: 7yrs – 15yrs

*Children under 13 yrs need adult supervision not necessarily in the class but present in the library*
