This workshop will focus on winter pruning to get the best out of your trees for the warmer months to come.

Winter is the best time to prune deciduous fruit trees like apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, plums and cherries.

This workshop, by Crystal from Morgan Park Garden Centre, will focus on winter pruning to get the best out of your trees for the warmer months to come. We will talk about which styles of pruning works best for which type of fruit trees, as well as demonstrating bareroot tree pruning and talk about pruning established trees.

We may also touch on common fruit tree problems such as leaf curl on peach and nectarines, or coddling moth in apples and what to do to prevent/treat them.

There will also be time to asking questions about your specific trees.

This event is proudly part of LibrariesSA’s Firstival. Learn more at firstival.com.au.
