Meet ABC and BBC Journalist John Ovenden at the Library for Firstival

John Ovenden spent 26 years as an ABC TV newsreader before moving to London to read news for the BBC world news service where his audience was sometimes a quarter of a million listeners worldwide.

Journey through John’s career as an ABC TV and BBC newsreader, presenter and journalist. Enjoy anecdotes about several well known stars he has interviewed over the years, from meeting four James Bonds to carrying C3PO’s Laundry.
