This hands-on session introduces participants to the expressive world of pen and ink drawing.
Guided by Karen Briggs, you’ll learn essential techniques such as line work, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and creating texture and depth.
The class focuses on observation and precision, helping you develop control and confidence while exploring this medium to develop your own artistic style.
In this session, we will explore how to draw animals and insects using pen and ink while simplifying complex details such as fur, feathers, wings, and patterned surfaces.
We will focus on creating depth, texture, and contrast through line work and mark-making.”
