Weaving & Knots: Kids Crafting Culture with Aunty Elaine
Join Kaurna Elder Aunty Elaine for a fun, hands‑on weaving session made especially for curious kids.
Together, we’ll learn about Kaurna culture while using our hands and imaginations to weave with natural materials and colourful raffia.
Children will get to try simple weaving techniques and create their very own small basket or woven keyring to take home. Along the way, there’ll be stories, laughs, and lots of sharing.
No weaving experience needed — just bring your curiosity and creativity!
This is a relaxed and friendly session where kids can learn, make, and celebrate the wonderful traditions of Kaurna culture.
Ages: Children aged 7- 16 years (children under the age of 12 require a parent or guardian to attend event)
Cost: $5.00
